About The Organization

Our Background

The Federation of Leaders in Aiding and Mitigating through Education (FLAME) is a non-profit organization based in Davao City, Philippines. We aim to create a society that is informed, knowledgeable, and ready in facing unprecedented incidents; especially, fire through educating and engaging with the community.

The organization was founded by 9 student leaders and continued  on beyond their academic years. Although they took different paths, courses ,and programs, they share a single passion that ignited the birth of the organization: community service. With their core values built upon humility, compassion, and social welfare, the founders found purpose in helping the community fight and mitigate the element of both life and destruction – Fire.

Mission

Education: Provide comprehensive fire prevention and safety education programs to equip youth and communities with the knowledge and skills to prevent and respond to fires effectively.

Advocacy: Advocate for fire safety policies, regulations, and initiatives that prioritize the well-being and protection of the youth and the community.

Collaboration: Foster partnerships and collaborations with stakeholders, including schools, local government units, fire departments, and other organizations, to maximize our impact and reach in fire prevention and mitigation efforts.

Empowerment: Empower youth and community members to take an active role in fire prevention and mitigation through training, capacity building, and community engagement initiatives

Vision

To create a fire-safe society by educating and empowering youth and communities in fire prevention and mitigation, fostering a culture of safety, resilience, and proactive engagement to safeguard lives, properties, and the environment.
